Worked really well for me. I nearly always get cold sores after being in the sun and wind and try to take lots of Lysine in the lead up to exposure, but I could not find any in the chemists here in S...uva, and so went out unprotected. I found Viratac at the chemist after the cold sores had developed and the cream has really helped. Within 3 days the sores have dried up and are less conspicuous. I'm also using the Viratac lipbalm.
