DIRECTIONS: Instil 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed or as directed by your eye care professional.

PRECAUTIONS: If you experience persistent eye discomfort, excessive tearing, vision changes, or redness of the eye for more than 72 hours, discontinue use and consult your eye care professional. Do not use if this product changes colour or becomes cloudy. Do not use if you are sensitive to any ingredients in this product. Do not touch tip of container to any surface to avoid contamination. These drops are very fluid when applied for easy application but form a protective, moisture-trapping film over the surface of the eye for the lasting effects typically found only in gels, which can be a hassle to apply and many users find uncomfortable.

Dry eyes can be both a short-term and long-term condition. Causes range from environmental, such as hot, dry air, to hormonal---particularly changes associated with menopause. There are some cases in which use of Systane Ultra Lubricating Eye Drops (or any other eye drop) should be discussed with a doctor first; namely when dry eyes are caused by injury, infection or eye abnormalities. Directions for Use

Systane Ultra Lubricating Eye Drops are similar to most other eye drops; the fluid comes in a vial with an eye dropper built into the lid. Simply administer one or two drops to the affected eye(s) as needed to relieve symptoms.

This product should be shaken well before each use. Fluid should be completely clear; discard if cloudy, discolored or containing particulates. Care should be used to avoid contamination of dropper tip and vial contents by avoiding contact with skin or surfaces.

While any eye drop, even water, may cause brief discomfort, this product should not cause pain, itching or irritation. Likewise it should not produce redness in the eyes if redness was not already present. If these symptoms occur, stop using Systane Ultra Lubricating Eye Drops until speaking with a doctor.
